Work with me

One-to-one gut health support for people who have already tried the obvious things.

If you’ve spent months or years on elimination diets, supplements and appointments, and your gut still runs your week, you’re who I work with. Restore Revive Thrive is my 16-week programme. We work out what’s actually driving your symptoms, then deal with it in the right order. If IBS is what brought you here, here’s how I approach it.

Free, 30 minutes, directly with me. No pitch.

Is this for you?

It probably is if

  • You’ve been dealing with IBS-type symptoms (bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, pain, reflux or food reactions) for months or years
  • You’ve already tried diet changes or supplements without lasting results
  • You’ve been told it’s IBS and then left to get on with it
  • Something changed after antibiotics, food poisoning, a pregnancy or a hard year, and never changed back
  • You want a plan built around you, not another generic protocol

It probably isn’t if

  • You’re looking for a quick fix or a single supplement that sorts everything
  • You’re not in a position to commit time, energy and money to this right now
  • You want a one-size-fits-all plan with no context

How it works

1. Free discovery call (30 minutes)

You walk me through your symptoms, history and what you’ve already tried. I tell you honestly what I think is going on and whether working together makes sense. If it doesn’t, I’ll say so and point you somewhere more useful.

2. Initial consultation (90 minutes)

A full look at your history, symptom timeline, diet, sleep, stress and medication. This is where we build the picture and decide whether testing is worth doing.

3. Testing, only where it changes the plan

Some people need a comprehensive stool test (such as the GI 360) or a lactulose breath test for SIBO. Many don’t. If a result wouldn’t change what we do next, we don’t run it.

4. A phased plan with regular check-ins

Your protocol is built in phases, so we change one thing at a time and can see what’s working. We meet every two weeks to review progress and adjust.

What we work on

Most gut advice focuses on food. Food matters, but for the people I see, symptoms usually keep coming back because more than one thing is driving them. We work on three areas together.

Nutrition

What works for your gut specifically, with the emphasis on what to add rather than an ever-growing list of foods to avoid.

Nervous system and lifestyle

Stress, sleep and how you eat all change how your gut behaves. This part is often the missing piece.

Movement

The right kind of movement, at the right time of day, supports digestion and motility. Usually simpler than people expect.

What’s included

  • 90-minute initial consultation
  • A personalised, phased plan covering nutrition, lifestyle and movement
  • 30-minute check-in calls every two weeks
  • Progress reviews before each check-in, so we can track how you’re actually doing
  • Email and text support between sessions
  • Interpretation of any functional testing, and a plan built around the results
  • Recipes and resources matched to your plan

Investment

£350 a month, for a minimum of four months.

That covers everything listed above. Functional testing isn’t included. When it is useful, you pay the lab directly, so you only pay for tests that will change what we do. We’ll always talk it through, including the cost, before anything is ordered.

After the 16 weeks, some people are ready to carry on alone and some want continued support. We decide that together near the end.

Online across the UK, or in person in Hove

Most clients work with me by video call, so it doesn’t matter where in the UK you are. If you would prefer to meet face to face, I can see you in person in Hove by arrangement.

Hi, I’m Teddy

I’m a registered nutritional therapist (DipNT, mBANT, CNHC) and I founded Berkeley Nutrition in 2020. I focus on gut health because I know first-hand how much digestive problems can take over your life.

I work alongside your GP, not instead of them. Nutritional therapy doesn’t replace medical care, and if anything you tell me needs medical attention first, I’ll tell you.

What clients say

He is very professional and creates a safe space to talk about anything that might be troubling you. He is seriously knowledgeable about nutrition but also understanding about what’s realistic to implement. Would recommend 10/10!

Teddy’s holistic approach and expertise have been transformative. Working with Teddy has not only helped me feel better but has also given me the tools to maintain my health long-term.

Questions people usually ask

Do I need an IBS diagnosis?

No. Many people I work with have IBS-type symptoms without a formal diagnosis. I would always recommend seeing your GP first to rule out other causes, particularly if you have any of the warning signs below.

When should I see my GP first?

Blood in your stool, weight loss you didn’t intend, anaemia, symptoms that wake you at night, difficulty swallowing, persistent vomiting, new bowel symptoms after 50, or a family history of bowel cancer, coeliac disease or inflammatory bowel disease. These go to your GP before anything else.

Will I have to cut out lots of foods?

Usually the opposite. Many people come to me already eating a very narrow diet. The aim is to understand what’s driving your symptoms so we can widen what you eat, not shrink it further.

Do I have to do functional testing?

No. Testing is only worth doing when the result would change the plan. We decide together after the initial consultation, and you’ll know the cost before anything is ordered.

Can I keep seeing my GP or consultant?

Yes, and you should. I work alongside your medical care. If you’re on medication, we plan around it, and I never ask anyone to stop or change prescribed medication.

How quickly will I notice a difference?

It varies. Some people notice changes within the first few weeks; for others, especially with long-standing symptoms, it takes longer. That’s why the programme runs for a minimum of four months.

What happens on the discovery call?

We talk through your symptoms, history and what you’ve tried. I tell you what I think is going on and whether I can help. There is no pitch, and if it’s not a good fit I’ll tell you.

Can we meet in person?

Most sessions are by video call, which works anywhere in the UK. In-person appointments in Hove are available by arrangement.
